PRAYER REQUESTS

Dear Sam,

I pray that you will see this answer. The truth is that even though you are overwhelmed with your problems, God is able to save you. You will not drown for he has a way out of every circumstance and nothing is impossible for him.
Jesus died to give you life and a future with promise. Always remember that your God is bigger than your problems! He has defeated all of our enemies and he is able to keep us in his peace if we can keep our eyes on him in the storm.
Keep your eyes on Christ for he has a plan for your life that cannot be stopped. The enemy knows this but he will try to get you to forget it.
I am praying for you now. He has a way of causing all things to be used for your good. Never lose hope. You can trust that Jesus will be faithful!

Hi Sam, Just want you to know that my list is never too long. I have added you and have begun to say a prayer for you in the morning and at night. Things will work out for you. That is the promise that Christ bought at Calvary. The reason that you can take joy in all of your circumstances is that you are guaranteed the victory as long as you keep your eyes on Jesus. He has a way out and above every trial.

One last thought- please remember that NOTHING is impossible for our God who breathed life into the dust and created us. Surely he can breathe new life into your impossible situation.

I am praying now for those who really need a miracle in their situation in life. I pray that God will give them his peace and fill them with a very real sense of his presence. My heart goes out to those who are struggling with overwhelming financial problems, failing marriages and serious health issues. Take heart today, for God is with you and will work through your pain to help you. He will not fail you!

I lift up also Gavin and Sam and pray that God is meeting them right where they are. He is in control of those things for which they are struggling and he has a plan to bring them to victory. Keep your eyes on God. Never let the battle seem bigger than the promise God has made to you!

I am lifting up to the Lord all those who are dealing with issues that are out of their control. I pray that God will give them peace and the strength to hold on no matter how bad the situation is. I pray especially for anyone who has a spirit of suicide that is attacking them. May the power of Christ drive from their mind that spirit. May they be renewed in the truth that Jesus has a plan for their life that cannot fail. I pray for a peace to fill all of those who are in a depression and see no way out. This is a lie from the father of lies! Jesus can always make a way out and above every painful situation you are in and bless you for trusting him in the midst of it. He will never leave you and he has a way no matter how impossible it seems. Whatever you are going through, it is only temporary.
The enemy wants you to beleive that there is no hope. There is always hope with Jesus! You don’t have to look anymore for an answer for Christ is the answer. That is why he died to give us victory in our problems.

Whatever pain you may be going through, I pray for the peace of Christ to surround you and comfort you. I pray that you will have strength and a new revelation of God’s love for you. For with God, all things are possible.
He sent his Son to die for you to give you a future with hope. Never let the enemy convince you otherwise. Just hold on.

I pray that God will continue in his mercies toward you. I pray for favor and protection. I pray for peace in all that you go through for God is peace. The spirit of fear has no control over you! You have been set free from the bondages of any demon power and God has a way to work all things out for your good. May you keep your eyes on Christ as you walk in the valley for he will never leave you. He died to give you victory no matter what comes against you. Keep the truth in your heart and do not let the enemy put any lying thoughts of fear or anxiety in your mind for God is over you. He has commanded his angels to be with you so that nothing can harm you.

You will not drown, Kike, for God always has a way above and beyond your problems. Stand in the truth. Know that God will keep you.

Dear Lord, This world is growing dim and problems keep coming against us. It is so hard to trust sometime and believe that you are the answer to our pain. But the truth is that you are working things out to bring us closer to you. You have a purpose and a plan that will take us through this world and to eternity with you. It doesn’t matter how difficult our struggles are or how impossible our situation is. Your right hand will bring us safely through. Help us all to know, O Lord, that you will always be bigger than our problems; that you will never fail us; and that we have nothing to fear because you have already paid for our victory.

To those who are having a hard time believing that you will take them through their difficult struggle, I pray that you will draw so close to them that they can feel the breath of heaven on them. Jesus, make yourself real to them. Comfort them in their pain. I pray that you will put godly people in their path to encouage them.

All that we endure on this earth has eternal ramifications as you help us to grow in our faith. You are coming soon and your reward is with you. Help those are feeling anxious, alone and without hope to know that your strength will cover them to the end.

May your peace be with Sam, Gavin, Kate, Jane, Preethi, and Anonymous as they keep their eyes on you in the storm.

Dear Lord, your love for us cannot be measured. Your perfect ways for us are beyond our understanding. But we know in truth that you will never fail those who call upon your name.
I lift up now those who are struggling with decisions that must be made. I pray for those in financial situations who have nowhere to turn. I plead the cause of those who have a serious illness with themselves or a loved one. I pray for your strength in the lives of those who are held in bondages and addictions. Heal the hearts of those who are broken. Come to the aid of those who are in a painful situation that seems unending and hopeless.
O Lord we know that your love will never fail us. I pray for the needs of all those represented here and those who read the messages of hope that you have given me. Please comfort these ones now with your peace. Help them to know that your plan for them will not be stopped. You have the way out and above all that this world brings. Our troubles and pain cannot destroy us but can only be used to open doors for your power to work greater things through us.
Make this prayer real to those who need to hear from you. I pray this in the name of our blessed hope, Jesus Christ. Amen

Dear Lord, you know the needs and the hearts of all those who come here for prayer. I lift them up right now and ask that you give to them the calm assurance that you will take them through the storm that they are in.

Heavenly Father, I come to the throne of grace to intercede for all those who have put their requests here. I pray that you will give them strength as they endure painful trials and struggles. I ask that you fill them with your peace and a knowledge of your truth so that they can understand that nothing is going to destroy them no matter how much it seems like it is. Please let them feel your presence, dear Jesus, because the enemy is filling them with his lies. He is trying to get them to think that you will not help them and that they will drown in the sea of their tears. I pray that you will ease their fears and troubled thoughts. Send your angels to minister to them right now. You will take them through the fire and bring them safely through in your perfect time and your perfect way. May you now lead them beside quiet waters, my Lord. Give them hope and a joy despite their trouble. You will never fail. For that, my Lord, we give you praise and glory forever. In Jesus name, we can do all things. Amen.

Jennifer, first of all I want you to know that I have lifted you in prayer last night and this morning. My heart breaks with yours and I will continue to keep you in prayer until God’s peace fills you… and it will. Try to forgive those who do not understand your pain or who think you should be over the fact that your beautiful son has died. A mother does not get over her child’s death! However, if you can keep your eyes on God, despite the fact that your tears are blinding your sight, you will see that he is going to take you through this pain. God does hear you, Jennifer! And he grieves with you for your pain. Death is a very real part of this life and none can escape it. Our hope is in the Promise of Christ and our life in eternity with him. This world is perishing but we who have our faith in what Christ did at the cross have nothing to fear on this earth. Death can only free us to be with our God in beauty so great that our finite minds cannot contain it. Death has no power because Jesus defeated it at Calvary.

It is difficult to trust and and stand in faith when something as devastating as a death of a child happens. But you were never meant to stand alone!
God has angels around you right now ministering to your broken heart. He has burdened others to keep you covered with prayer. You may not see all that it happening all around you, but I assure you that God is close to the brokenhearted and he is nearer than you can imagine. He will not leave you. Although you will always have that pain in your heart for your son, God has a way to use that pain to make you stronger in your faith and to mold you into the image of Christ. He can and will turn all of your struggles into something good. You can’t see that right now but you will.
Everything that touches you must first be sifted through the hands of Christ. He knows your pain, Jennifer! He has your heart in his hand right now. He has a plan to take you through this and he will not fail.

Jennifer, I know it is difficult to believe all that I have just said. That is expected. All that I ask is that you never give up. Ask God each morning for the strength that you are going to need for that day. It will be a process of learning to trust but as long as you are willing, God is able to help you with all that you are enduring. Jesus did not die to give us victory over all that comes against us, including death, only to let us be destroyed by the pain we experience. That is the truth! I will pray for you each day and night. I am asking God to put understanding people in your path to help you in this pain. You need to know the God that you serve, Jennifer, for the enemy will be filling your mind with lies. He will be trying to tell you that no one cares or that even God won’t help you. That lie is from a defeated enemy. Never surrender your victory to the enemy.

Hi Zet, please know that I have been keeping you in prayer and will continue to do so. I don’t know how God is going to take you through your financial problems but I know he has a plan. You must keep your eyes on him! He alone knows the opportunities that he is preparing for you right now. He is not going to let you languish and be destroyed. He knows what you need and he knows when. I am praying for God to send you the help you need and the wisdom to understand what he would have you to do. All you have to remember is that nothing is impossible for him. Your life was planned long before you were born. His purpose for you is not going to be destroyed just because you are being overwhelmed financially. Do not be afraid; just believe. That is what Jesus told Jairus in the gospel of Mark 5:36. Jairus was just told by family and friends not to bother the teacher anymore for his daughter died and nothing could be done. BUT Jesus told him that his daughter was not dead, just asleep. What if Jairus refused to believe Jesus and not let him come to his dead child because it was “impossible” to help her now? He would not have received the miraculous gift of his daughter being brought back from the dead! Jairus had to believe Jesus could do what the world said he couldn’t! He had to believe that nothing was too hard for him to do. He had to trust and believe that Jesus was the Son of the living God! Despite the fact that his daughter lay dead on her bed, Jairus chose to believe! That is what you must do also, Zet. No situation is ever dead when the power of Christ can resurrect your finaces, your health, your relationships and your future. The hard part is waitng on him, but you must. You must because he will never fail.
I am praying for your situation. The storm will be strong but your God is stronger! Trust and believe despite the wait. Please keep in touch and let me know how you are doing. I am here for you.

Zet, I am so glad that you were able to get some peace as you read the message that God gave me just for you! I told you that the answer may not be as you expect or want but that it will be the best for where God wants to take you. His ways are higher and better. Just know that in this testing, God is watching you closely. He is examining your heart to expanding your trust. You may not have been able to really trust him in the past, but when this ordeal is done and your see that your God was truly with you, you will be able to take him at his word! It is never pleasant to have to endure these trials but know that the testing of your faith will give you something that no amount of money could ever buy. Remember that God allowed the 3 Jewish boys, Shadrach, Meshach and Abnego to actually go into the furnace. He could have stopped them from having to go in but instead he brought them through as he met them in the middle of the flames. They emerged without even the smell of smoke on them. God’s glory was maginified. Let him do the same for you. Do not be afraid. He is with you in the furnace. Let him do his work.

Dear Lord, as I read over all the requests that were made here, I lift my eyes to you knowing that your love is able to meet us in every situation. I am standing in the gap for all those here who are still struggling and growing weary in the battle. Please strengthen them, dear Lord, and give them your abundant peace that will calm their troubled spirit and give them rest. Help them to know that you have all things under control as you work through their heartache to bring them safely through and stronger for having endured this trial. My heart breaks for each of them and I humbly request that if I have favor with you, my Lord, you will hear my plea for them and lift this burden that they carry. May they know that you are wtih them right now! May hope fill their hearts and may a renewed strength be with them. I thank you for hearing our cries and giving us access before you at your throne of grace. Open their eyes to the truth of your never ending love. May your name be glorified for all that you do. We give thanks in the precious name of Jesus. The name above all names!

My dear friend, I am so sorry for your situation but I pray that you will stand trusting despite what you are going through. My latest article entitled TRUST GOD NOT YOUR MONEY deals exactly what you are going through. Please read it if you didn’t already.

I want you to remember the truth and that is that God did not leave you side and that he is with you right now. As difficult as it may seem, he is working something far greater out in your life and you must trust him until he takes you through it. All of us are going through a trial of some kind. So many are losing homes and jobs and trying just to make ends meet. But God is your Provider. If you have been faithful to him, he WILL NOT abandon you now. God has a way of bringing gold out from the ashes of our life. He knows what he has to do in your life. He hears you right now. He understands your anxious thoughts.

Some years back, I thought I was going to lose everything also. I saw no way out of my situation and no way to change the outcome. I pleaded with my God to help me. I asked him to help me to trust that he would not fail me. Shortly after, a peace did come over me. It was funny but I just knew that God wasn’t going to leave me. I continued to tithe and to help the people that he put on my heart. It went against reason to help others when I couldn’t help myself but I did.

Somehow, and I can say that I honestly don’t know how, God started blessing my finances little by little. I was able to consolidate some things and bring down the rate of others. Just little things yet I was able to stay afloat and then work to get ahead a little. It didn’t happen right away but I can tell you this: My faith was changed during that crisis and I have learned to trust him even when it is impossible!

I want you to know that I will be praying for you and your family. You just keep your eyes on God and let him do the rest. God can turn around your disappointment and give you more than you lose. I will be praying.

Dear Lord,

I lift this friend up and I submit to you her financial problems. Father, you know the way to take her from this bankruptcy and to restore her to wholeness. I trust that any way you work this out will be what is best for her and her family. You gave to her all that she has and she acknowledges that it all belongs to you. Help her in this situation I pray that you will find a way to stop them from losing their home. I pray that you will give them a peace to know that you already have it worked out. I pray that you will comfort them and help them to believe that you are all that they need. Because of you, dear Jesus, we can now come boldly to the throne and present our requests. Your word says that you will deny us no good thing (Psalm 84) and we trust you. In your precious name we lay this request and give our thanks that your love has done it all. Amen

I am lifting up in prayer a person from Atlanta who is struggling in a painful situation. I pray that God will meet the needs of this person and bring him to a sense of peace and the knowledge that victory is on the way.

Hi Hope, You are a good friend to care so much for Philip. I will lift him in prayer as I do the rest of the prayer requests. We serve a God who knows our weaknesses and our pain and he can reach Philip where he is and help him to overcome the bitterness and pain that is keeping him in bondage. Dear Lord, I lift up to you the requests that are listed here and I plead the cause of each person who has come here for prayer. I pray that you will let them feel a very real sense of your Presence as you work through them and around them to bring them what is good in their lives. Help them to trust you and to keep their eyes on you despite the darkness of the storm they are experiencing. Dear Nontobeko, I am glad that you stopped here for God does have a word for you and I will keep you in prayer for your job situation. No matter what it seems like now, if your trust is in Jesus Christ, he is working out a plan to provide all that you need despite the fact that it seems like he is slow in answering your prayer. He is opening doors and getting hearts ready for what he has planned for you long before you were born. He knows your anxious thoughts and he knows your fears. He has come to give you peace in spite of your struggles. Let his still, quiet voice speak to your heart and give you rest. Keep doing your current job to the best of your ability and let your good attitude shine in that department. You will stand out. God knows where he wants to take you and he knows how he is going to do it. Stay strong and keep your eyes on him. He will not fail you. You were equipped for every good work and he will bring to pass the future that he has prepared for you long before the world was formed. He has plans to give you a future with hope so that you can give the glory to God and provide for your family. Never let the devil cause you to doubt! You belong to Christ and you have an inheritance. Keep up with your daily Scripture reading. I will be waiting to hear what God does for you.

Dear Lord, please keep my friend, Nontobeko, in your perfect peace as you work out the details of this job situation. Let your love and rest fill this family with hope and help them to keep their eyes on you through this struggle. You are the Author and Finisher of each of our lives and we know that those who put their trust in you, you will direct the steps and provide the path for victory in every area of our lives. We give you thanks that you will work out this situation and take my friend though the waters of difficulty to the place you have prepared for him. Hi Renz, the very fact that you are willing to submit to God’s plan in this relationship is something that honors him. You can be sure that if this relationship is good for you, God will help bring it about. Although she helped bring you closer in your relationship to God, she was not put with you to change you. God is the only force to change you and he will if you allow him access in your life to do so. What you should desire more than anything is to be in the center of God’s will. That is the only perfect place to be. Continue to pray for this girl whom you love that God will lead her in the paths that he has for her. If it is with you, that is even better. Trust him, Renz, for he knows beginning to end of your life and he knows what will make you happy. We don’t always know that and we try to make God give us things that are not good for us. But I will join you in praying that God will find favor on you with this girl if that is good. Never give up. God always knows what is best.

Dear Lord, I pray that you bless Renz and that you help him to keep his mind on you. I pray that you will help him to be patient as you bring into his life that mate that you have for him. I lift up this young lady whom Renzo has feelings for and I trust that if it is good, you will bring this couple together in a way and a timing that is perfect. Help Renz to trust you in this matter. Protect both he and the young woman as you guide their steps on the path that you have for them. I pray that your perfect will be done. In the name of Jesus, I present this request before you. Amen

Dear Sarosh, I feel your pain as you struggle to make ends meet and provide for your family. The times are tough and everyone is experiencing some financial problems. I have lifted you up in prayer and will continue to do so until God gets you through this valley. I don’t know why you seem to find no relief in your finances. I don’t believe that God punishes people who do not tithe. While he does bless those who give back to God for all he has done, Scripture does not show that he comes against those who do not. God doesn’t need your money, he wants your heart! Those who generously give show that they have a heart that honors God. You need to pray and ask God to show you any area of your life that perhaps you are not surrendering to God’s will. Does your spending now and in the past line up with the principles of God’s word? Ask God to reveal to you your weaknesses. If there are areas you need to change, repent and ask God for his guidance and strength in overcoming them. If you feel that there are no real issues here, then just commit to trust God to provide for you his way and in his perfect timing. You need to believe that God is not going to fail you. That is always a lie from the enemy. Keep praying and trusting until he parts the sea of this financial crisis.

I will tell you that I too went through a serious financial struggle several years ago. I was a single mother and was overwhelmed with debt. It was an impossible situation and I didn’t know what I was going to do. I always had a hard time trusting that God would show up in time. This time, I was totally at the end of myself. I thought
that I would lose my home. So I decided THIS TIME I was going to do what I never did before – I was going to trust that God was more than enough to help me!!

Well, to shorten this story, I somehow was able to consolidate my bills, take out a home equity loan that for some strange reason I qualified for, and pay off my debt. I had to live frugally and without charges for a while. During that time, God showed me his power! He showed me that he would not fail me. He showed me that nothing was impossible. And he got me through to the other side!! He will do the same for you.

I will be praying for you, my friend. Did you read my article AT THE WATER’S EDGE ? I think there is a definite message there for you from God. I am praying now. When you trust God at the edge of the sea, when you can do nothing on your own, watch as God’s power and love is revealed to you in a big way. You are never alone!!

Dear Sarosh, your kind words lifted me up today and gave me encouragement. I will continue to pray for you KNOWING that God will work even this difficult trial out and bring you to his peace. All of my articles are actually written from lessons that God gave me in my struggles. I know it can be painful when God doesn’t seem to answer right away but the truth is that your prayer is ALREADY answered. The timing of God is working it out to perfection. Those who truly belong to Christ know by faith that he will not fail them no matter how impossible it seems. Remember in Genesis, Joseph was sold into slavery and then falsely imprisoned. He languished for over 8 years there. Did God forget him during that time?? NO!!! He was actually getting this young shepherd boy ready to be royalty! He was working on his heart to give him the wisdom and knowledge that he would need to lead a mighty people! Joseph did not have a clue! It might have seemed like God did not answer his prayers but as you see, that was not the truth. I don’t know what God is doing in your life. From the way you write, I feel that you have a good relationship with the Savior and he is just going to take you to higher ground and make you stronger for having gone through this! You will be wiser when this is all done, my friend. For believers, nothing happens for nothing. God ALWAYS has a divine reason for what he allows us to endure. Remember that you are not alone and remember that God is already working it out -
in his way and his timing. I want you to scroll down on my posts and read, WHEN GOD SEEMS SILENT. It is something everyone has to experience and there is a reason.

Dearest Sarosh, thank you immensely for keeping me in prayer. You do not know how that helps me in my life. I will promise to intercede for you on a daily basis. I know you are in a battle and I took it to the Lord today, pleading that he give you insight in to handling this situation. I don’t know all the facts but if you have a home in Sri Lanka that you can sell to pay your debts, then I believe you should do so. Do not mourn the loss of this house for your God is able to get you a better one! Do what you are able to do and leave the impossible part to God! I promise you that he will not let you down. As I told you in my story, I had to take a loan against my house. I was so terrified of doing that because it seemed like I would have never ending in payments. But God had a plan!! He helped me to pay that loan off ( I am a financial person but I cannot explain how it was done!) and he brought me to steady ground. He is going to do the same for you my friend! Do what you must do and do not fear. Watch and see how God repays your trust and gives you much more than the enemy stole! God’s silence may be deafening but YOU ARE NOT SINKING! That is a lie from the enemy. You may feel as if you are but that is so the devil can make you take your eyes off of your God! Don’t do it! Peter would not have gone under the water if he kept his eyes on Christ. He let the waves and the wind make him think he was sinking when in reality the Master over his destiny was with him all the time!

Sarosh, I am praying night and day for you. Do not give up. This test will last for a time but in the middle of this furnace of affliction, your God is with you!! That is his word not mine. Just believe!!

Dear Sarosh, I thank you once again for your prayers as I keep you daily in prayer also. You mean a lot to me. I feel your struggle as I have been through it also. When God allows a believer to experience this kind of trouble, he is working something so far greater out in you that you will be made stronger for having gone through this. He is molding you and shaping you for greatness. Remember one thing, Sarosh, this world and all the pain you have here, cannot destroy you but rather is getting you ready for royalty in heaven! These struggles are working out a divine purpose that will last forever. The enemy himself knows that if you hold on in faith, you will be made like gold and silver! Each time a believer trusts God despite the pain, they are giving honor to God and he will not forget it!

I will pray for you to get a good sum for your house. God knows how to make you whole and to restore your fortunes so do not dwell sadly on this. There are many who are suffering financially. If you put your trust in Jesus Christ and keep your eyes on him, he will find a way to help you when there is no way. Your difficulties are never too tough for him. He is the source of all of your strength. Give your struggles to him and then leave them there. There is nothing impossible to him and he knows where you are. I pray that you will feel his peace as he leads you on the path that he has set for you long before you were born.

Dear Diana,

Please know that I have lifted you up in prayer and will continue to do so as I pray for all of these requests. I know how difficult it can be when your marriage is attacked for I also have gone through this. It is painful and overwhelming. Let me share with you what God has shown me through my marriage troubles.

First of all, God is still on the throne and if your trust is in the finished work of the cross, he has a plan to take you through this. Your struggle did not come as a surprise to God nor is it impossible for him to heal. I literally felt at one point that I was drowning in my tears and the loneliness was unbearable. Yet in my spirit I knew that God’s strength was with me. I did not have to audibly hear from God or physically see him to know by his own word that he will never leave me. That thread that you are hanging onto, Diana, is one put there by God. Hold on! God can work through this if you allow him. Surrender your hurt and your pain to him. Lift up your husband and leave him in God’s hands to do whatever he feels is right. Don’t try to tell God how to change your husband. Tell God to help give you a heart to continue in his truth until he works this out – one way or the other. I know that I can’t make my husband do what is right. I can only trust that God is going to love me and protect me despite what my husband does. God’s plan for you cannot be stopped by your marital problems. The enemy of your soul wants you to give up or to believe that God is too far away to help you. He is not, Diana. God is close to the brokenhearted and he has a way to give you peace in spite of all that you are going through.

Because I can relate to what you feel, I will keep you close in my heart and prayers each day. God is watching you, Diana, to see if you will trust him in this difficulty. When you don’t have strength of your own, know without a doubt that God will burden hearts to pray for you. You are never alone and you never will be! The biggest battle satan wages is against homes and families. But your God is bigger, Diana! He not only has fought the war for you, HE HAS ALEADY WON IT! Never surrender your hope to the enemy for Christ has defeated him at the cross and he cannot take the future that was paid by the blood of our Savior.

Hi Diana, I am so glad that you are letting the truth of God’s word fill your heart. Just leave your marriage in God’s hands and defy the enemy by praising God for what he is going to do for you. The bible says in Romans 12:18, “If it is possible, as far as it depends on you, live in peace”. That means that you can do what is right and follow in God’s ways despite the fact that your husband may not do the same. God will bless you as you keep your eyes on him. I pray that it helps you to know that Jesus was aware of this problem you would have long before you were born. He knew of it and allowed it in his perfect plan. He also had a way for you to be victorious through this difficulty. He alone can cause ALL things to be used for your good and for his glory.

Sin is always going to be in this perishing world, but God’s truth can lift you above the rivers that want to take you under. The truth is that God’s love can always make a way. I don’t know what is going to happen in your marriage. I only know that God will keep you from harm and will give you joy in your pain if you just stand firm and believe.

I am praying for you, Diana. Please stay focused on the truth. It may get more difficult but that does not mean that Christ is not powerful enough to help you. He loves you way too much to let you fail now! Use this time to get to know him and the love he has for you. You are going to be okay!

My heart and prayers are with you. I know you are feeling discouraged and frustrated but that does not mean that God is not working for you right now. It is especially difficult to have to watch your children suffer but you must not give up hope. To do so would be to admit that your God either does not care enough to help you or to believe that he cannot. Both are lies from the enemy! You must never think about doing anything drastic. That would resolve nothing and would give you further stress. When you focus on Scripture, everyone that God used had to endure this time of waiting and not knowing what was going to happen. Everyone! The prophet Elijah defeated all the false prophets of Baal and yet got discouraged enough to want to die. We all go through times of pain that seem unbearable. I am also waiting on God for a struggle in my life. I cry and pray but I still trust that somehow he can work this out. I already know that God understands what I am going through and the pain that it is causing me. He isn’t off to lunch somewhere – he is always right next to me! He knows, Sarosh! He knows what you are feeling and he knows your heart. Please don’t give up or waiver in your faith. Purpose in your soul that you will go to your death trusting your God! After all God has done for us, should we blaspehme him now and deny that he is on the throne able and willing to give us what is good? I am with you,Sarosh. I am praying night and day for you. This will work out and you will see the victory. I will be praying for God to strengthen you at this time and to give you peace despite your financial difficulty. Please do one thing for yourself and begin to make a list of all that you now have because of God When you are done, give thanks to God for even the smallest favor that he has given you. Ask God to show you what he would have you know from this trial. And then, surrender your ways and your heart totally to him to do as he sees right. Trust him, Sarosh. You will never regret trusting God in the furnace. In Scripture, the 3 Jewish boys had to go into the fiery furnace when they wouldn’t bow to King Nebuchadnezzar, but they were rewarded by meeting in that furnace with the pre-incarnate Jesus Christ, who rescued them and rewarded them with favor and blessings for trusting in their God.

Let your knowledge of who God is fill you with hope knowing that he must give you whatever is good at the right time that it is good! Even when you can’t see, you must believe that God cares.

I am praying for your finances, Sarosh, and for you to have the strength you need to wait upon God. Please know that I care. How much more does God care? You can’t begin to imagine!!!

Hi kevin, I will indeed keep you in prayer for your addiction to pornography. Remember that we each have weaknesses but that God has a way out of all of them. Many people, Christians included, suffer with this sin issue. But God has a plan for your life and he can help you. The enemy is putting these distractions in your life to keep you down. Be sure to get into God’s word everyday! He is the armor that you need to stand against the devil’s schemes. His word can defeat all that comes against you.

Pornography will destroy your life! That is what the enemy wants. But if you purpose in your heart to keep God’s word within you, you will have the victory over this sin. That was written by Kind David when he was in the midst of uncertainty and pain in his life. Yet he knew his God could keep him in his perfect peace despite his troubles. You can know that too. Dwell on God’s goodness for it is out of that love that he planned your life. You have nothing to fear for whatever your future holds, God has you covered. He sees your fears, your anxious thoughts and your pain. Give him your trust and allow him to use all these things to work out what is best for you.

Hi Jenna, I want you to know that I take these prayer requests very seriously and will be lifting your family and little Noah up to God and his perfect will. Please let me know how your court date goes. I will be praying a lot that day.

I want you to remember one thing, Jenna – God has the final say in this decision. Every person on this earth was put here by God. He determined what family you would be in; what year you would be born; what country and city; and everything else that has to do with you. It is all his decision. Little Noah is in God’s hands. No court can adjudicate where that boy will be when God HAS ALREADY DECIDED! Please stay in God’s peace as you go through this battle. It is God who has gone ahead of you and his army is surrounding you in this matter. In the end, trust his decision in this matter. It is the perfect answer.

Personally, and this is only me speaking, I believe there should be laws made whereby if you give your child up for adoption, you cannot and should not be allowed to change your mind! Although I commiserate with the birth mother, there was a valid reason why she at first thought it best that the child should be given up. That was a difficult but loving decision for her to make. To now go back on that decision just does not make sense. I will be praying, Jenna, and you just be believing! God is with you!!

We are all going through things in this life that make us struggle in our faith. This world is perishing and it is trying to take us believers with it. The truth is that it can’t! God has a perfect plan for our lives and the struggles of this world are no match for the God of all eternity!

I will be praying for your physical health and for your spiritual health also. Sometimes when our bodies are weakened by sickness, our minds grow weary in faith. If your faith is in the cross of Jesus and salvation through him alone, your sickness has no power to destroy you. By that I mean that God will work even illness to be used for your good. That may seem like a contradiction but it is the truth. Sometimes it takes being made weak in our bodies for God to get our attention and show us his strength. In any event, God is causing all things to be used for our good. You must remember that when you feel down in your struggles.

Harry, be sure to get into the word of God daily and let his truth be your armor. I will be praying for you each night and lifting you up for God to find favor on you. You are never alone in your pain and God can do all things for you even when it seems impossible.

For whatever reason you had to quit your job, God is able to provide for you a better one if your trust is in him. Christ died to give us victory in every area of our lives. You may be a little anxious now because the future is so uncertain. But, it is now that you must show God that you still trust that he has a plan for you that will not fail. We all have faith in God when we are on the mountain. But the truth is that we must still believe him when we are in the valley with our problems. The enemy will be working overtime to cast doubt in your life and make you think that God is not going to help you. His lies will try to bring fear and anxiety in your thoughts so that you will take the focus off of Christ. You must not do that! Don’t give in to a defeated enemy for he has no power over your future.

I wanted to get that out first although I know it is hard for you to believe. Angie, do you read your bible daily? If you don’t it will easy to fall into doubt and disbelief because the enemy is always whispering his lies in your ear. It is by knowing the truth and answering him back with God’s own word that you can have victory. If you read through Scripture, you will see that God always brought his people to the end of themselves before he was able to promote them. You are having serious financial struggles now but the truth is you are making it – albeit barely. That thread of hope you have is the one you must cling onto as you wait for your God to bring you to victory in your finances. While you are waiting on him, examine yourself to see if you did the best you could with what he gave you. If you feel that you did, ask God to show you if there is any area of your life that you are still keeping from him. He is willing to guide you to surrender that which you may not even realize you are holding back from him.

Angie, are your children healthy? That is God at work. It is his blessing that you have a child on the way that I will be praying for. I can truly commiserate with your broken floor and walls with mildew as I grew up very poor. (Iin fact, our bathroom was in the basement which was always damp. Every time I went down and tried to turn on the light I would get zapped with electrical shock from the dampness! It is funny now but wasn’t back then!) Have you looked to see if you qualify for any help with your mildew problem? There are a lot of programs just to help people who are struggling financially.

The timing of God’s work in your life is perfect even though you don’t feel like it is. God’s ways will always be higher. In Genesis, Joseph was sold into slavery by his brothers and then thrown into prison for something he didn’t do. He languished in that dungeon for over 8 years. Why? Where was his God? Little did Joseph know but during this time of wait, God was preparing this young shepherd boy to be royalty as second in command to all of Egypt. Joseph’s time of suffering and waiting on God was for a purpose! God was getting his heart ready to rule Egypt and to forgive his brothers. By doing that, Joseph was literally able to save the Jewish people from being totally destoryed by famine. Amazing that God can do so much through us when we trust him.

Angie, times are hard for people all over this world and the sad part is that it isn’t going to get any better. But God has a plan!!! If you belong to him, he will use even this time of struggle to enlarge your future! You are in training for a royal assignment that will take you through this world and into his kingdom. It is hard to be alone because God made us to desire companionship. Your depression is built on the fact that you are seeing your time of loneliness now as never going to end! That is not true. It is a lie from the enemy who wants to frustrate you so that you will believe that your God does not care. Diya, you must understand that you life is fully visible to the eyes of God. He knows what you are feeling and he has a way to help you. The thing is that it will serve you no purpose to try and make things happen by yourself and not wait on God to fulfill your desires. You are going to see your God move the mountains in your path and take you to a level of trust that you did not know was possible. But you must keep your eyes on him! He is not going to fail you. You will have to trust him to do things his way and in his timing but that is because that is the only perfect way. Our finite minds think that there is only one way that we can be helped. But God knows beginning to end of your life and he alone knows what is best for you. You can do it, my friend. God is not going to leave you for even half a second! You matter to him and his perfect plan for your life cannot be stopped by your financial difficulties.

I will be praying very hard for you, dear friend. I know the power of the God we serve and I know that you will be taken through to victory. Please hold on and stay in his word. Hi Bobby, I am so saddened to hear of your serious financial problem. I will be praying for you even now for God to intercede and get you through this difficulty. We are living in a time when everyone is being tested to the limit. It is a very dark difficult time for all of us. But God did not leave us alone to fight this battle. He has promised that those who belong to him cannot be destroyed and I believe him!

It sounds like you are very qualified to work but are just not able to find the work. I will be lifting your name up to our Provider who knows what we need and how to get it to us. Three years is a long time to be without a steady job. I just know that God has the right situation for you and that soon he will be revealing it to you. God knows how to open the doors that were once closed for you. Bobby, stand in faith believing! Your circumstance is urgent but God is not going to fail you. I know this because as I was once drowning in debt and uncertain of I would have a place to live, God came through and lifted me up. He will do the same for you.

It is easy to get anxious when you are financially strapped and you face the fact that you may soon have nowhere to live. But I know the God we serve is not going to let that happen. I am praying for God’s blessing and favor in your life. I am praying that opportunity will come your way shortly and that you will know that it is from your God. I pray that God will keep you in his perfect peace while he gets you ready for the position that he has planned for you to be.

Hi Lily, thanks for stopping back and for your words of encourgement to me. We all face doubts and struggles but when you look to God for your help, he never fails you.

Remember that the main point that I stressed to you is that you must pray for Jacky every day. I am sure that he has weaknessess also and your prayers will help. Then trust all the rest to God to show you what steps he would have you take. Even when you are married, the most important thing you can do for your husband is pray for him daily. Sometimes we fall short on that and just assume that everything is okay. We must pray because that is our weapon against the devil’s schemes. There is nothing that shakes hell more than when a believer prays and trusts God!

I will continue to keep you and Jacky in prayer. I know God hears and that he is working out his perfect plan in your life. Keep your eyes on him no matter how big the storm gets.

Dear cherbear, I am so happy to hear that God has begun his work of resolving the conflict in your life. Remember, God’s main focus is not to get you debt free but to set you free from your fears of trusting him for everything! It is better for you to wait upon God and to grow in faith than to have all that you need and never give a thought to the one who provides all good things.

I have been praying for God to give you wisdom and discernment in your financial matters. One thing that I have found in my life and that is that you cannot outgive God. If you read my message titled, Learning To Trust God, you will see that by growing up poor, I still let fears rule my life when it came to my finances. That was not acting in faith. I trusted God to get me through other things, but when it came to money matters, I would panic if I thought I wasn’t going to make it. My reaction was based on lies from the enemy instead of the truth that Christ died to give me. If I lined up my spending with the ways of God, he was always going to provide for me. The bible is filled with those whom God has blessed financially – but you must be ready to handle that blessing or it could become a curse. It takes learning how to have faith when you have plenty or when you are in need. It is trusting that your God will always be bigger than your problems and knowing that all that you have that is good is from the hand of God.

Keep trusting and believing, my friend, for God has great things in mind for you. Don’t let this financial matter frustrate you. You have already seen how God came through with help for now. He will take you all the way through your burden and make you stronger for having gone through it. Stand your ground and don’t leave room for the enemy to plant his lies that you will fail. Those who belong to Christ have a future with promise that is guaranteed! You can’t be destroyed, you can’t fail completely and you will never be alone. Take that truth to heart and deal with financial difficulty by believing in faith that God is more than able!

Hi Frankie, I know how painful a broken heart can be. I have been there and it is literally like a knife in your heart. I remember going through a bad time when my marriage was over that I seriously thought that I was going to drown in my own tears! For months I was numb. The truth is that although I thought that God didn’t really care about my pain, I realized when time had healed my wounds that God was with me all the time. I didn’t die and I surely didn’t drown in my tears. I ended up looking back on my relationship and saw that it actually was a farce. Meanwhile, God did not leave my side for a moment. I emerged from my pain stronger and more aware of love of God who kept me from being destroyed with what I thought was the unbearable loss of someone I thought I loved. I can’t even imagine now why I was so upset over the situation for as time went by, I was able to understand the situation in a clearer way. I know what you are going through, Frankie, but you MUST believe me that you won’t always have this pain! There will be a time when you also will not understand why you felt so destroyed when actually it was not as it seemed.

Frankie, I am praying that God will restore your relationship and make it even better. Whatever happens, you must know that you can’t lose. Either way, he is going to take you through your pain.

I don’t know what God’s plans are for your life but I know that if your trust is in Christ, he is going to work all things out for your good. It might not seem like it at the time, but I assure you that he is doing unseen things right now for your cause. I am going to pray for God to give you discernement and patience in this matter. There is nothing you can do right now but trust your God and pray for God’s strength to see you through. As difficult as it may seem, if you will seek the out the work of God’s kingdom, he will work our your problem. Satan wants you to dwell on your pain because then you will be destracted from your relationship with Christ. He wants you to be ineffective for the kingdom. Don’t let that happen. Trust that your God knows how to heal your broken heart. God has the power to heal and restore relationships. And God know best what is right for you. If you can’t trust that the God who created you, who formed you in the womb, who numbered your days before one of them came to be – if you can’t trust that he has your best interest at heart, who can you trust?? Everyone else is going to fail you but God never will.

Stay in the word and be focused on what God is telling you during this time of waiting. Don’t get frurstrated or overwhelmed because the answer to your prayer is already set in place. God’s timing has a purpose and it is for your best that you wait on him. I lift my requests up to God each night and soon I will be going into prayer for you. Be still and let God’s peace reign in your heart because he is able to do even more than you know or expect. I will be praying. God bless you as you rest in his peace!

She cannot help how she is acting right now. I will pray that God will restore her to a sound mind free of depression. And mostly, I will pray that you will stand in your faith and take your pain and hurt to God and not against your mother. This is so sad. I know you feel so hopeless in this matter. But you have all the hope in the world if you belong to Christ. The truth is that your prayers are the best medicine in the world. I am going to join you in this battle you are facing. I will be lifting you up and believe that God will dispatch his angels to minister to your needs as you endure this difficult time. Hi Sandy, I feel your pain because I know that when our children are involved, our hearts are involved also.

First of all, I have prayed about what you have asked. I believe that I am being scriptural in what I say. Your children are grown. You did the best you could to raise them. Now they are making bad choices and you feel the need to bail them out. The only thing about that, Sandy, is that you are then enabling them to make more and bigger bad choices. As a mother, you are compelled to pray for your children and for their walk with God. In the bible, Job prayed and offered sacrifices for his children. The prophet, Eli, in the book of Samuel, paid a price for allowing and covering the sins of his sons. Our children are a gift on loan from God. We are to teach them the ways of God and let them make their own decisions when they are grown. When your children suffer the consequence of a bad choice, they will strive to do better the next time. If you keep removing the consequence, you will hurt them and yourself in the process.

I know it is hard, Sandy, but the answer is to pray hard for your children and trust God with the rest. He alone can get their attention. They are not taking your counsel very serious as they still do what they want. What will they do if you aren’t there? You must show them now that you love them, that you will be there for them, but that they will have to pay for any consequences of decisions they make. Make it clear that you cannot and will not bail them out anymore. You are making yourself sick, Sandy, and that will help no one.

I will be praying for you tonight and each night to come that God may give you wisdom and discernment in dealing with your kids. I know you love them – but you must love them enough to let them face the penalty they may incur by their actions. You must start trusting your God to help you to do what is right in his ways. As hard as it may be, you need to be firm in your resolve to not try to fix everything in their lives. You aren’t helping them when you do that. It is a process and I will be praying for you. Let God be your power to do what is right that you may be blessed and your children may be blessed.

I know so well from all that I have been through in my life that God cares very much for what we are going through and he will help those whose trust is in him. I know how hard it has been for you but you must persevere and accept what you know to be true about your God and not what your emotions are telling you. The enemy will pounce upon your emotions and twist them to get you to believe that God does not care about your pain. The truth is that he is working out his perfect will in your life and giving you all that is good. The sad thing is that we want our prayers answered our way. We think if God gives us what we want that we can work it all out for good. That is not what happens. We have a finite mind and do not know what is good for us. We cannot see the begining to end of our lives. All we can do is measure our desires by what we see right now. You must believe, Frankie, that you need to pray for what is good by God and not by your emotions. If this man were the right one for you, he would be with you. You are holding on to the memories that were good and you aren’t thinking of the times there were not good. You are selling yourself short by thinking that you must plead to God for this man to come back to you. You are worth too much to God for him to let you have what may not be good for you. In your prayers, seek first God’s kingdom and glory. Ask him to help you to desire the things that are the best for your life not just what you think would be good. God parted the sea of my tears and took me through to what was better for me. I can tell you that I praise him for not giving me what I thought was good. Praise him for giving me what WAS good. Never doubt your God for he is the one who is giving you the breath that you have in your body to live. You cannot fix this matter on your own because you will fail. I know that you are suffering with this addiciton to pornography and I will pray even more for you. Have you been reading your Scriptures daily? You cannot afford to miss a day. The way to put on the full armor of God and to take your stand against the devil’s schemes is to know the truth and have the power of Christ working in you. I know that if I miss a day of my time of dwelling in God’s word that I pay a price. Make the time, Renz, for this battle is too big for you to wage on your own. Jesus is more than enough to keep you free from this bondage if you allow him to. If you have a true relationship with Christ, his Spirit dwells in you and leads you in the right paths. Last night I was lifting you up in prayer and crying out to God for you. I am so sorry for the pain you are experiencing so I am asking God to give you hope and wisdom in this matter. If your husband leaves you, I just wanted you to know that God has a way to protect you and keep you in his strength. Until or unless it all goes through, you are to pray and seek God for help in restoroing your marriage. God has a way to ease your pain as he did mine. I think right now you don’t see your pain as ever leaving! That is not true. God can give you joy despite what you are going through. I am praying for your marriage to be healed and for your husband to be the man that God created him to be. I know you are so hurt that you may think that God failed you if your husband does in fact leave for good. The truth is that God still allows us our free will. Your husband will pay the price for his actions so I pray that he realizes it. Keep praying. If in 12 days he is gone from your life, that does not been that it is the end of your life. Hi A.A., I fully understand you being uncomfortable asking for prayer from someone you don’t know. But, I want you to know from my heart that I will be lifting you up in prayer each night for whatever struggle you are facing. You need to know that you are never alone for God will put you on the heart of those he wants to intercede for you. I will be one of them. Your trial is under the watchful eyes of a God who loves you beyond measure. He is not going to let you be destroyed by the storm that is filling your life. He is going to take you through it. That is a promise for those who put their trust in Christ.

Please remember that sometimes your situation can make you feel completely alone and without hope. Those are lies from the enemy who wants you to think that your problem is beyond all help. We serve a God who knows exactly how to save your from your trials. He planned for them before you were born so you must trust that he is more than able to bring you to victory. If you will read some of my articles, you will note that I always write one message over and over again. That is that you should never make your problems to be bigger than your God for they are not and they never will be! Whatever you are going through, Christ is at the center and he is working them all out to your benefit even though you can’t see that now.

Hi Esther, I do not know what plans God has for you but his plans are good. God has not and will never abandon you. To think that is to listen to the lies from the enemy. The true God who created you will never leave you to fight the battles of this world alone. He knows what you need and he knows what is good for you to have. If you belong to Christ, there is no good that he will ever withhold from you. ( Psalm 84) You need to stay in Scripture and ask God to help you line up your desires to his. Would you want him to give you something you asked for when he knew it would end up causing you pain? The fact is that many of us cannot wait on God and so we try to make things happen by our own power. That will never give you victory. Hard as it is to trust God in all things, you must have faith to do so. He alone sees beginning to end of our lives and he alone knows what is best. So many people, including Christians, go into relationships trying to make it all work out but finding later that they can’t. Divorce rates exceed 50% and that includes Christian marriages! That is incredibly sad. BUT, if you wait on God, he will give you the desires of your heart that are good. If you can seek his kingdom first, you allow him to give you blessings in your life. It is never wrong to ask God for a particular person that you care for. You just need to be prepared to either wait on God’s timing to make it happen, or to accept that God knows that this person is not the right one for you. And if you will accept by faith the ways of God, he will give you much more than you asked for yourself.

Esther, I have made many poor choices in my life because I did not want to wait for God to make things happen. Everything I thought was good ended up in failure. I don’t want that for you. I want you to have exactly what God desires for your life. I will be praying for you and this situation. I hope that you will be reading your bible daily and letting God fill you with wisdom and discernment in all of your decisions. God cares for you, Esther. Your desire for a partner was put there by him and he knows how to fulfill your need. Keep praying for the person that you love. Ask God to bless and guide him in all his ways. We are commanded in God’s word to trust him alone! He has a perfect plan and he has the way to make it happen. I know you want things your way and in your timing. But what if you get them and you end up miserable? You have to understand that God is going to give you only that which is good. Why would you want anything less? There may be a way for it to work out with the person you care for. You just need to surrender ths person to God and leave it to his perfect will. A long time ago, I used to pray to God for a favor and then have a back-up plan in case he didn’t come through for me. How foolish was that?? I mean, why would I ever want something that God did not want for me? He alone sees the beginning and end of my life. He alone knows what is right and perfect. I now want what he wants because my ways are not always good. They might seem like it at the time, but they don’t always work out that way.

I will keep praying for you, Frankie. I know you want to trust that Christ will give you good things. You sometimes get anxious for his answer and you may want things even if they aren’t good for you. But the true child of God will give all of their wants and desires to God that he may give them back what is good. You don’t need a sign to show you that God has heard your prayers. When Christ died, the temple veil of the holy of holies was torn to give us access directly to the throne of Almighty God! We can now go to him directly and present our requests KNOWING that he hears us. He does not forget and he never overlooks anything we petition him on. But when you pray, you must seek his will. Trust him, Frankie, he not only knows what you want; he knows what you need! The reason over half of all marriages end in divorce is because everyone THOUGHT they knew what they wanted. Soon they find that what seemed great really was just a facade. Then it is too late.

I will continue to pray for God to give you strength to believe him at his word. I pray that you will trust his answers to what you ask of him. And I pray that you will grow in your relationship to Christ. Once you truly know his love, you will learn to accept that his ways are best!

Hi Bridget, I will be praying for the doctors to have wisdom in getting to the source of your pain. I will continue to pray and please let me know what they say to you after your test next week. I know it is difficult to endure this pain and frustration, but I hope you will remember that God has not left your side and that he is working something out for you even though right now that may not be clear. It is hard to trust when we can’t see the reason for our suffering but that is when we must show ourselves to be true believers – and not like the rest of the world.

Hi Vanesha, my heart is with you and I will be praying for you. I teach a weekly bible study for the women at our county jail. I see how hard it is for them to be facing prison time and have and to leave their children. They fell prey to the lies of the enemy when they thought that they could do a crime and not get caught. There is always a consequence to sin. Even if you don’t get caught right away, you still pay a price when you do things outside of the perfect will of God. You also believed the lie of the enemy. If you had been walking in the ways of God you would have probably not been so vulnerable to the temptations of the enemy to do this. You are so young and it I know it is difficult for you to spend some years of your life imprisoned. The good news is that God is forgiving. No matter what you face, he is willing to be with you and to help your though this hard time. It is my prayer that you will be able to get into some bible classes and learn that God’s strength is all that you need to never take this path of crime again. If you are willing to surrender your will to his, he can still give you a future with promise. Remember, God is not interested in setting your free from prison. He is more concerned with setting you free from what got you into prison! What good would it do for God to let you serve a short time only to go out and live the same destructive life that brought you down? You are worth more than that Vanesha! You sold yourself short when you decided to take what did not belong to you. That would never come to any good. God has a purpose for your life. He knows the path he planned for you long before you were born. He saw the choices you would make and he is still able to use them for your good if you are willing. Your life is not over because you must serve time in prison. God can still work out his purpose for you no matter where you are. The light of Christ can give you hope despite your situation. He is not going to leave you for a second. I know that it is a scary time for you. But it can also be a time of learning and understanding for you. You need to know the truth of Christ so that you don’t make these bad choices again. You need to get yourself strong in your faith so that you can do what is right for your son when you get out. Hi Megan, I am glad that you stopped by here because now I will add you to my prayers each night. I am sorry about your pain so I will be giving that over to God for his help. Everything that you are struggling with is in the hands of our God whose love cannot be measured. You have some chaos going on right now in your home but this soon will be changed. Use this time to spend in reading the bible and getting to really know God. When I first was saved, I really had no interest in reading the bible. But I started slowly at first and soon I was really getting into the word of God. I know now that the Holy Spirit was working in me to read and learn about God’s love for me. Now I know that I receive God’s power and blessings when I seek God in his holy word. That is how I learned the truth of dealing with all that problems in my life. I did not have a good childhood and some of my pain haunted me as I became an adult. It was in knowing the truth of Christ through his written word that I learned that all I needed was him and that he could heal all my pain, my loneliness and my fears. Hi Jennifer, I am sorry about your marriage problems but be sure to know that I have added you to my prayer list and I will be lifting you and your husband up in prayer every night. It is sad that the enemy of hell is focused on destroying the family. Marriages all over this world are collapsing because the enemy has coninced so many that our vows to God mean nothing. And to honor God, we must honor our spouse. Men sometimes do not understand that God expects them to put their wife first lest their prayers be hindered. I have been through these problems also and have decided that I am just going to keep my eyes on Christ until it is resolved. Remember that Peter began to sink as he was wallking on the water because he took his eyes off Christ and put them on his cirucumstance. When you do that, you empower your trial instead of knowing that your God is still bigger. Jennifer, you just keep praying and stay in the word of God every day. It is the truth that is going to strengthen you in this battle. Ask God to change your heart to one of understanding. Don’t get me wrong, your husband may be the total blame but all that matters is that you resolve to leave him to God. It is God who will deal with him. I brought this up to someone else in marital problems but read about Abigail in 1 Samuel 25. She was married to a fool named Nabal. He was a drunk and probably did not treat her well. He was self-centered and selfish and yet Abigail stayed. She handled the situation with David and saved her family from being destroyed. In the end, God took Nabal. His heart of stone finally killed him. And Abigail then ended up as the wife of King David! I am not saying that your husband is going to be taken! All I am pointing out is that Abigail’s suffering was before God. She had no idea in her marital struggle that she was going to end up a Queen in Israel. You don’t know where God is taking you, Jennifer or what he has planned. You just need to trust him. He will take care of the rest. I am praying for you. Hi Glenn, That proclamation you made about surrendering to God even when you don’t like what he has to say shows me that the Spirit of God is working in you. It is pretty scary but not so much when you realize that God only has your good in mind. Psalm 84 tells us that no good will God withhold from those whose walk is righteous. That means that he absolutely will give you all things that are good and only withhold those things which are not. He alone sees beginning to end of our lives and he knows what is going to work in our lives. We just know what we want. We sometimes don’t understand that ultimately what we want may be something that will destroy us. So our trust must be in him! The good news is that he is not going to fail you. As you take those steps in faith, he is right there next to you ready to catch you if you fall. God does indeed love you and he wants to heal you from all hurts and guide you in your struggles. When you understand that you can’t lose when you surrender it all to God. You can have the faith to keep going in the path that he destined for you and that is best for your life. I am proud of you for not giving up. You asked others to come along side you and pray for you and that is good. You just keep your eyes on the prize. God has big things in store for you, Glenn!

mm, I am not quite certain of what your prayer request is but I want to share something with you. You don’t have to barter with God to receive something good from him. By his own word in Psalm 84, ” No good will he withhold from him whose walk is righteous”. If you are a believer and follower of Jesus Christ, you have been made righteous and all that is good for you will be allowed by God. You promised to serve God forever if your request is granted. That is like trying to buy the favor of God and it will never happen. A true believer serves God even when it seems like a prayer is not answered.

I know that it is difficult to keep standing in faith when so many things are coming against you. The truth is that God has authority over all that he allows in your life and each battle has already been prepared in advance for you to be the victor! When you can understand that each attack has no power to destroy you but that it can only achieve the purpose for which God has allowed it to, then you can have the confidence to keep your eyes on Christ and know that he is not going to fail you. Keep your focus on your God and not your circumstance. All things are being worked out for those who love God and are called for his purposes. If it was you, than you need to remove it from him. If he does not have controls and boundaries in his life, he will never respect authority of any kind. He will have a very difficult life. I am not sure how he was able to drop out of school. I fear for your son if something is not done soon. Do you have a counselor or a Pastor that you both can talk to? Hi Claudia, my heart does break for you and others in this economic meltdown that we live in. I will be praying for you without cease. I know how hard it can be. Years ago when I was a single mother, I got into a financial bind and thought I was going to lose our home. I struggled to keep my faith but somehow I did. In the end, God did help me to do what I needed to do to get back on my feet. Your husband being out of work is a terrible strain on you both. I find it sad that people would admonish him because he is a college graduate and should be working. A lot of graduates are out of work. It is difficult to find a job anywhere. However, if you are a true follower of Christ, he is not going to let you be destroyed by this situation. He WILL make a way. He owns everything that is on this earth. He knows how to provide for his children and the economics of this world don’t matter.
You and your husband must pray together and seek direction. I know you probably already are but continue. See if God is not leading your husband to a job he might not have considered before. It may be out of his range but he should try it anyway. God may have a plan to take your husband away from the kind of jobs he had in the past to lead him to the plan he has for him. I pray that he is getting the heart ready of the employer who is going to hire your husband. I pray that your husband’s eyes will be open to seek jobs that he may think are beneath his training. God can put you in a job and see that you are promoted to where he wants you to be. Tell you husband to consider all offers. Then just surrender the outcome to your God. He cares about this situation. He knows your need and he alone can help you. Forgive those who have passed judgment in the past. Release it all to God and watch him work in your life. Be sure that you make the time to read your bible every day. God will speak to you through his word and bless you for what you do. Your job is to teach your children the ways of God and how to follow him. Your children must see you pray and they must see that you trust God! That is how they will learn to do the same.

I will not stop praying for you, Claudia. I take all of these prayer requests very seriously. They are all in my heart and I intercede for them all. I may not know everything about them, but I know God does. We read in Psalm 84 that no good does God withhold from those whose walk is righteous. I take that promise to heart. If you are a believer and have Christ living in you, you have been made righteous. God will not keep back anything that is good for you and you can take that to the bank. Hi MRC, I will of course add you to my prayers each night. I know that financial problems are hitting everyone and it is tough. However, we serve a God who can provide for his own. Those who hear his voice and who follow his lead will never lack for any good thing. It may be tight and you will have to make cuts, but Christ has already made a way to help you. I am so glad that you have returned to Christ in your heart. We all have gone astray at some point in our life but he never holds that against us. I will be praying for you and your family, my friend. Read your bible every day in order that you learn more of his truth and let it be your protection. God speaks to us through his word. Spend at least 10 minutes every morning and you will find not only peace about your situation, you will grow in your faith as you read about God’s faithfulness.

Dear Juliette, I will of course continue to pray for you. Remember how we talked about how God’s will cannot be stopped in our lives. I think you really wanted your relationship to work out even though you saw the red flags telling you that it was not good. I believe that God was with you then and he is with you now. You are an intelligent, articulate woman who has everything going for you. Unfortunately, there were times when you just sold yourself short. You don’t have to do that. I pray, my sister, that you took to heart our conversation that God is not in religion but in a personal relationship with Christ. If you have Christ living in you, do you really think he is going to abandon you? Do you think he can’t give you a better job and the desires of your heart for the right spouse? Don’t let this negative situation turn you from what you know to be true about the God you serve. He knows where you are, dear friend! His eye is on you. He knows how to bring you success but you must trust him. You are very qualified for the work you do. God has given you talent. You will get another job and he will open the doors for you. I know it is hard right now. Disappointment sometimes feeds into us feeling inadequate. Keep what is true in your heart. Don’t let the devil’s lies fill your mind. You will come through this. And when you do, you are going to have a better understanding of Christ and his power.

Hi carelesskimjang, I am glad that you stopped here. I will be praying for you each night and trusting that God can provide for all that you need. I also pray that you will grow in your faith and trust and learn how to hear from God. If you are a believer who has Christ living in her, then God has a plan to help you in every area of your life. You want to be free of debt but remember that you must make the effort to do what is right with your money. It seems like everyone of us has to cut back on our spending and be very wise in how we use all that God gives to us. I learned a while ago to seek God in all of my spending. Whenever I would go to a store, I would pray that my spending would line up with God’s will. I did not get all that I wanted but I was able to get all that I needed. That was a blessing! In the end, I saw that my spending and how I used my money was also meant to give glory to God who gave me everything good. I also lined up my finances biblically. I gave and helped others as led by God to do. I learned to share all that I have. And I learned to be content with what I had. That discipline helped me in all the areas of my life. You need to pray about your spending and ask God to show you if there is any area in your life that you need to balance.

My friend, be sure to read your bible every day. You will learn the principles of how to honor God and live a blessed life. It doesn’t matter what you have unless you have God’s hand of blessing on your life. Everything else will be destroyed one day. God will speak to you through his word. He will lead you as you seek him in your reading. And his power will fill you as you put his kingdom first.

Those who live a righteous life through Christ will never lack for anything good. God knows how to provide for those who trust in him. I will be praying for you, my sister. God can restore your marriage and make it better than it was before. He can bless your family and bring favor in your home. Whatever happens, it you continue to keep your eyes on Christ, he will take you through this situation. I will be praying for your marriage and for your children to remain safe and secure. Hi louiecat, it is so good to see your faith at work in such a painful trial. When you start to get panic attacks, immediately turned them over to Christ. Those attacks are the whispers of defeated spirits who are trying to take you down. Don’t give in. That is why I tell you to say in the bible and read of God’s unfailing promises. No matter what happens, he has the power to take you through it all and to keep you standing. I am praying, my friend, and I will keep praying that this family can be restored to wholeness and more. Hi Jim, First of all I want to say that I am so sorry for the loss of your mother. I lost my mother almost 20 years ago. She was only in her sixties. It still hurts but I do know where she is. My father died almost 3 years ago. He lived with me for the last 4 years of his life even though he was not around when I was growing up. I thought I had forgivenh him but when he came from out of town to live with me, I knew I still harbored pain over his not being around us growing up. Ny brother and sister lived out of town so I had to deal with all of their affairs alone when they died.I I felt lonely and very overwhelmed trying to do everything while working and caring for my daughter. I have to tell you, Jim, that it was in that lonely time dealing with the details of their affairs that I truly understood that God was with me! I never could trust him to help me becaause everyone else in my life failed me in some way. I just thougtht he would too. But he saw my tears and pain. He saw my guilt for things I failed them in. The grief I felt thinking that I let them down, that I didn’t do enough, that I hurt them in some way, almost ate me up alive. I know that God’s power came upon me and helped me to forgive myself and to move on. I did the best I could even when I wasn’t so nice. I am forgiven. I did a lot for them so my failures should not be filling my mind. The same is true for you. You did not fail as a caregiver! You did what you could. Give the rest to God and let him show you as he did for me. If the enemy can get you to believe that you let your mother down someway, he can put you in an emotional bondage of failure! That is a lie. Know the truth, my brother! The truth is that you were there and did try to help. Whatever you think you didn’t do enough of, surrender it to Christ now. Never let the accuser hold it against you.

Although I don’t know what the outcome will be, I know that if you continue to keep your eyes on Christ – he will without fail take you through it and make your stronger for having endured all you did. I know that your mind is just filled with hurt and confusion over all that you have been through. You said that you are afraid to ask God for specifice things for fear of being disappointed if it is not his will and that is what I would like to address.

My friend, for years I would seek God in prayer for specific requests – but I always had some kind of back-up plan “in case” he didn’t come through for me. This went on for a while until one day I came to the conclusion that I should not want anything that God does not want for me. Why would I try to make something happen in my life if God did not want me to have it? Remember, my brother, Christ has your best interest at heart. He will deny you no good thing (Psalm 84). He will give you everything that is good. When you pray for something, keep in mind that God can see the beginning and the end of your life! Nothing is hidden from him. Don’t you think that he would know just a little more than you what is good for your life? Do you want him to give you something that will ultimately be destructive to your life? Once I came to that understanding my prayer life took a whole different path. I am willing to submit to his will and not my own because he alone knows what is good for me. He gives me grace and mercy without measure so he definitely is not going to withhold something good.

Louiecat, go to God in prayer. He surely knows your pain and brokenheart. He sees your frustration and struggle. And he knows how to put your life back together again! You will not be destroyed if your wife chooses not to return to you. Additionally, IF she gets to the end of herself and decides that her marriage is worth the effort to make it succeed, God will work in your heart to love her even more than you once did. Hi John, I will be praying for you,my brother! Don’t let your fears cause you to forget the power of your God. We all are going through or have been through financial problems that caused anxiety. Remember that we are in ending times. The enemy is going to try to cause storms of every kind to hinder believers from shining the light of Christ for his kingdom. It is hard to witness of God’s providence when it seens like our own world is going under. The truth for those who belong to Christ is that he will work it all out for the good. You have to stand patiently in trust while your God does his work. That is hard but you have his strength to do it. I once went through a financial struggle that caused me to worry where my young daughter and I were going to live! I pushed past the thoughts of failure. I trusted in HIm who I could not see or hear but knew that God was with me. I forced myself to look at my God instead of my circumstance. In the end, it was somehow worked out and I came to know a deeper level of trust in God. I had to actually go into the furnace of affliction so that I could see God’s power and authority over all that I faced.

The only way you are going to know God and his promises is to meet him in his word! The world is too dark to try and work things out by yourself. I will simply lift her to the throne of God’s grace and humbly pray that he will touch her body and restore her to wholeness. I know that fibromyalgia can be a painful and debilitating disease. I pray that your friend will have peace in knowing that no illness of any kind is beyond the power of God to heal. All that comes against us is under his authority. He can speak a word against this diganosis and it must obey him. He has a purpose and plan for everything that he allows in the life of each believer. Hi Ashley, I know you are in a lot of pain right now and I am with you. Can you tell me why or when did you start thinking that you have lost all feelings? Did something traumatic happen? You need to understand that your emotions are on a roller coaster for some reason and what you feel is not necessarily so. The enemy can play with your emotions. Just because you feel like you are far from God does not mean that it is true! God’s word tells us that he is close to the brokenhearted. You have feelings but for some reason you are distancing yourself from them. Ashley, what situation is making you hurt so much?

babyybabyy, sometimes the storms in our lives make it feel like we are alone and that God is not with us. It really is hard to understand that if he is with us – why is he allowing this pain to go on? The truth is that there is a purpose for the pain in a believer’s life. It is not that God does not want you happy, it is that he wants your happiness to come from him. Sometimes we look for it in people and pleasures instead of the true happiness that only comes from a close relationship to Christ. I know you feel like your struggles never end. What you have to focus on, dear sister, is the fact that the God who created you, gave you life and a purpose and revealed himself to you is not going to let you be destroyed by your circumstance. It may seem like your heart is literally breaking but that is only to allow more of him to fill you. For instance, why did God annoint the Apostle Paul to bring the gospel to the Gentiles and then let him suffer so much? Paul was beaten, stoned and imprisoned many times and yet he understood that it was all for the glory of God and his plan.

My friend, your pain will not last forever, even though it may seem like it already has. It has been given for just a time. Wait on the Lord and trust him with your pain. I hope that you are reading your bible every day. The only defense against the schemes of the enemy is to have the world of God as your armor. You will get your strength from his word. And God will speak to your heart from his word. I will be praying for you and trusting that God is able to help you. Stand in faith in this battle no matter how dark it gets. Your victory is guaranteed so don’t give up!

Hi Ange, God wants you back with him. You are not lost to him. And you are right that life without Christ is not worth it. The things you search for in this world will one day perish. If you are looking for a spouse, it is God who can lead you to the one that would be good. God does hear your prayers but if you are not lining up your ways to his will you may be missing the answer and the blessings he has for you. The trials you face can all be used for your good if you are willing to wait upon him. We have all tried to solve our own problems alone only to find that we meet with failure every time. Christ has the answer to all things. He knows the desires of your heart and he knows of your fears. Surrender them all to him and let him work them out.

I do not have the power to make her illness go away and I will not ask God to take her to heaven. Hi Myra, You are not doing anything wrong. There are times when the Lord allows us to face hardships and struggles that seem unfair, but he has a purpose. That does not comfort you right now because your troubles can seem overwhelming. Myra, you need to just keep doing what you are doing. As the heat is turned up on the furnace you are in, stand in faith knowing that the Son of God is right at your side. There is a time for it to end. Weeping lasts only for a night but rejoicing comes in the morning. Those words from Scripture guarantee us that when the work is accomplished in us that God intended, the trial will end and the joy of his blessings will fill your life. I have been where you are. I have faced many painful storms and at the time, it was hard for me to believe that Christ was with me. There were times when I even thought that he had to be cruel to allow me to go through so much pain! I soon learned that it was quite the opposite. It was in his mercy that he allowed me to suffer as I did. For it was in that place of uncertainty in my life that I came face to face with my Savior. I could not write about him as I do if I had not experienced what I did. So many trials and yet I am here to tell of his glory.

Myra, you were not meant to go through your hard times alone. God will put others in your path to help you. I believe he led you to my site because I take all these prayer requests seriously. I intercede on behalf of everyone who is on this list. I lift them up in prayers that come from my heart. There are times when I sob out my prayers for people. I know the God we serve. I have seen his power in my life and in others. I have come too far now to turn back. I know you have faith, Myra. You are just weary because you may think you are alone or that your pain will never end. The fact is that it will.

Though you are feeling like your problems are taking you down, know in your heart that they cannot! Remember Peter feared the wind and waves as he stood on the water and yet they had no power to take him under. It was his fears that took him down! Don’t empower your fears for they are only lies from the enemy. You may have serious financial problems but it is not out of view from the Provider of this world. He will work to help you no matter what your problems are.

I also want you to know that I will be standing with you in prayer. God has burdened my heart for you and I will be interceding for you. Please stop back or email me anytime. I hope you will stay strong and not let anxiety steal your joy and weaken your health. Jesus did not die so that you would have no hope while on this earth. He paid the price so that you would have a future with promise. I am here when you want to talk. I care about what you are going through and I will be praying. Don’t surrender your victory to a defeated foe! You will come out of these hard times renewed and made stronger. That is a promise you can trust!

Hi Marcel, I am so sorry to hear all that you are going through. I will be praying for you. The enemy does want to take everything good from us but remember that Christ paid the price for our victory. That is something he cannot have. Christ is coming soon and he will make all things new. Until then, we have the hope as believers that all that we go through does have a purpose and plan and cannot stop God’s purpose for our lives. God has promised that he will cause all things that come against us for our good. While sometimes it doesn’t seem possible, we know that God does have authority of all things now and forever more!

Hi Juliette! I will keep praying for you, my friend. I know you have been through a lot in a short time but keep your eyes on Christ because he is working it all out. You are a beautiful, intelligent woman with a giving heart. Things will come together for you. Don’t think about those who seem to prosper although living apart from God’s ways. I memorized Psalm 73 because it spoke so well to that issue. Asaph wrote about how he envied withe arrogant when he saw the prosperity of the wicked. But then he goes on to say that he after he entered the sanctuary of God, he understood their final destiny! Remember, my sister, that no one gets away with anything. The justice of God finds out everyone. There is a price to pay for those who do wicked thing. Just because you aren’t seeing it now does not mean it won’t happen. Trust that God sees it all. Leave the things that you have no control over to him! Take peace knowing that he will handle it!

When my mother died 20 years ago, I tried to do what I thought she would want me to do – not what i thought was right. I know what you are feeling but I want to assure you without a doubt that you have every reason to for hope and that God still has the power to bring you above your struggles. My friend, it is never over when you belong to Christ! The enemy will always fill your head with those lies when you are going through dark storms in your life. The truth is that everything Christ allowed is for his purpose in your life. Nothing can destroy a beliver who has made Christ the Lord and Savior of their life. You may have strayed from the path that God had for your life but that doesn’t mean you have to stay there. You may have wandered from him, but he has never left your side. You are letting your financial difficulties determine your fuuture when they have no power to do so! You are making your problems bigger than your God!

Deb, there is a way out. All that we have that is good is from God. Although we will suffer through many trials on this earth, Jesus has promised that we can still have joy in the midst of them all. He has promised to lift our burdens and help us through our troubles. My friend, the most important thing you can do now is to begin reading your bible every single day! When you don’t, you are setting yourself up to be led astray. For that reason we are to put on the full armor of God in order to take our stand against the devil’s lies and schemes. If you don’t know the power of your God, how can you stand againt your enemy? Young David stood his ground and defeated the giant because he KNEW that his God was with him ande that his power would take down the giant! My sister, if you don’t have that same faith, you will think you have been abandoned when in fact all the power of Christ and his angels are around you now. You need only call in faith upon the name of Jesus! Do you actually believe that he blessed you and took you this far only to drop you now and leave you alone? Deb, you need to get into the word. Let his truth and the promises he made speak to your heart and affirm an assure you that the power of God to help you will always be greater than the struggles that you face.

My friend, I am not without my own troubles. I know what I say is true. God will never fail those who trust in him. I want you to know that I will be lifting you in prayer every night and that I am here for you whenever you want to talk. My email is listed on the blog. We all are facing troubles and storms of every kind. This is not heaven! We are living in a perishing world but we know that Christ is coming back to make all things new. Jackie, I am concerned that you think you are not worth a man loving you and willing to do anything to be with you. For some reason, you feel that your life will be over if your boyfriend does not return. He has refused to talk to you and this relationship has been over for 8 months. Why are you keeping your life on hold? My dear sister, you must move on. Do you think that God is not able to bring into your life the right man who will love and cherish you as you are? You are selling yourself short as you are seek after someone who is not interested. You deserve more than that! You will learn what I had to and that is that you cannot make love happen no matter how hard you try. The good news is that you don’t have to make it happen. You don’t have to try so hard. Hi Gillian, it should not be so hard to stay connected to God. Do you read your bible? The only way to stay close to God is to know him. You can learn about the God we serve and his faithfulness by reading his word. It was by picking up a bible for the first time and beginning to read it that my eyes were open by the Spirit of God and I understood who he was and that I was a sinner in need of a Savior. I am now born-again by his Spirit and Christ lives in me. You get discouraged, my friend, when you are trying to do things by your own power and not God’s.

My dear friend, God has not failed you. You have not surrenedered to him yet. You are seeking for God to do your bidding. You must remember that God loves you and he has a plan for your life if you believe. You said that you still have feelings for your ex. The problem is that your relationship with him did not work out. Why do you think this time it would? God alone can see the beginning and end of your life. He knows what is good for you. It is natural to want someone to share your life. The bible tells us that God said that it was not good for the man to be alone. For that, he created woman to be his mate. My friend, you must learn to trust God. How can he work in your life if you do not have faith to believe in him.

Good for you, Susan! Those who hate the God you serve and take it out on you are only earning for you riches in heaven. Those who are with Christ will be persecuted for him! We have been made worthy to suffer for him. There is not greater glory. All that comes against us in this world cannot destroy us but will be worked out for our good. We don’t need to fear anything of this world for our God is our protector! He has given his angels charge over us to watch and to guide us in the path that he has planned for us.

We need to pray for each other, Susan. I too have my weaknesses. If you are working for the kingdom of Christ, the enemy will pull out all the stops to discourage you and fill your mind with fear. It is for that reason we need to soak up the word of God. The truth sets us free! We are not in bondage to the enemy. Hi Susan, You are right to trust God and his timing in your situation. We all have had to wait upon his hand to move in our lives when we had troubles. However, the wait was not for nothing. The wait is actually part of the answer. Just as in Genesis, Joseph had to wait in prison for years for something he didn’t do, God was working out a master plan for this young shepherd boy. He had no idea that while he languisehd in prison, God was making a path for him to by second in command of all of Egypt and to live a royal life. Joseph could not dream that was what God was up to. Because Joseph trusted his God while in bondage and prison, God was able to use him to save his people from all starving to death during the famine.

Whatever God is up to, Susuan, you know by faith that it is good. Yes, it is hard to wait upon God’s timing but you must in order that his perfect will can unfold in your life. Trust as you wait. Read your bible and let his promises fill your mind so that when the devil attacks, you can tell remind him of the future that Christ died to give you. God bless you, Susan. Have a great Christmas!!
