Hello J.D. Stegall,
I have read your recent letter. Thanks for reminding me of the basics of our faith. Sometimes, it’s helpful being reminded of such things however obvious they may be.
I have been pretty good to the guys, especially the one I have issues with. I have offered even to lend him money, which is usually a huge no-no for me. It’s still tough, though, knowing what he’s doing behind my back. I was just called into the supervisor’s office this week. Yet, this guy acts as if he’s my buddy. Well, like the mobsters in the movies say, “it’s nothing personal, just business”. I could almost make his case for him, due to my under-performance. But he has a skewed perspective of people. I’ve seen how he talks against others who are excellent employees. This makes me angry because I’m “easy pickins” for him and he has the ears of my bosses. Sometimes I start to think I’m a fool to even consider being nice to him and not hating him. Growing up, I was taught by my dad that one was a very foolish fool to be nice to your enemies.
But, If it were easy everyone would be going to heaven, I guess. I’m doing it but I have to pray to God for grace that I survive this situation. God has been good to me always. He’s been good to me even when I was at my worst. So I’ll pray that He part the waters for me on this situation also.

Hi Juliette, I will be praying for you on this job situation. I know you have been trusting God to take you where he wants you. One thing I have learned, when you can trust that God is enough for your problem, he never fails you. He will do abundantly more than you ask. I know you have had a bad year, dear friend. Keep your eyes on Christ and watch and see how faithful he really is. I am praying for you, my dear sister.

Hi Ambrose, Jesus told us to seek first his kingdom and everything else will be added to our lives. We are all facing trials of every kind. This will happen until the Lord returns. He is watching those who can still trust him in the middle of our struggles. He is watching for those who can reach out to others for Christ despite what they are enduring. God knows how to rescue godly men from trials. Keep your eyes on Christ, Ambrose, and let his truth fill your heart. Whatever your need is, he knows and he will help you. I will be praying for you, dear brother.

Hi Antonio, I will be praying for the Syrian people. This is just so incredibly sad. The bible tells us that in ending times there will be famines, and earthquakes and devastation of every king. Our Lord is getting ready to return. I just can’t imagine this horrible crisis and how it is affecting so many.

We all need to pray! My heart breaks for these people!

Brothers and Sisters,
excuse me for asking again, but please remember to pray for the people in Syria. The towns of Banias, Deraa, have been attacked and occupied with heavy civilian casualties, close to 600. The city of Homs is under indiscriminate and constant bombardment.
The Syrian army has now deployed flying drones to spot where people are hiding or going for food and water. After pinpointing there movements. They bomb them.
Water, food, medicine and blood are running desperately short. People are surviving on sugar water, in some cases. There is no electricity, water or sewer services in most areas.
The sick and injured are being targeted and no one can leave.
Just going outside could be their last time they are seen alive. People in some areas know they will probably die because of how the army is carpeting bombing the neighbors from top to bottom and side to side with bombs, rockets, and mortars.
The temperature at night gets down into the high 30s or lowest 40s. Buildings have holes in them and blankets and clothes are in short supply.
In short, this is a desperate situation.
I watched a video today of a doctor who turned away from a dying child and put his hands on top his head. A gesture of desperation and grief.
The hand full of people who are getting videos out are risking their lives. An American reporter and her camera man were killed yesterday and two others who are injured are pleading to get out for further needed medical attention. At this point, chances are they may very well not get out.
The people Homs are waiting and wondering why no one is coming to help them.

Yesterday, I had no fare to take me to place of work, our budget had started showing signs of failure and in the past, this has been a tool for the devil to plant bitterness, complains n worries.But yesterday, the devil was caught and exposed.I got a revelation which I want to share with saints, especially Rob.His looks serious than mine but this revelation applies to all.God placed it in my heart n words not to ask him according to the problem of the day, but just to ask, in the midst of all, how can I benefit from the multitude of his mercies? Goodness? Kindness? Love and compassion? I told God not to give me money, not food, not a better place to live in, I told him to give me something from above! Something man cannot access by his or her wisdom, but something that only God can give. As rob goes to hospital for surgery,people can access healing n restoration from such ways
even non believers as long as they have money, so let him ask God and I ask God on his behalf, for something that man cannot access by his power, money or his wisdom, something sent from above! Isaiah 41:20.When I did this kind of
prayer, before the day ended two people had
borrowed me money n now my focus is still on something from above so I dont worry about my debts

Hi Marianne, Today I applied for a permanent full time job with the company. This is separate from the temp agency I mentioned in my previous emails. I’m still collecting documents for my records, but don’t want to miss out on opportunities for permanent jobs. I have worked with this department before and like them very much. Please pray that I get an interview and that if God wants to place me there, that I will be chosen for the role. I continue to pray for those who are against me professionally. Please pray that I remain obedient to The Lord. I cannot ask him to bless me and hold a grudge against others. Please pray for me. Thank you. JAP
